Exhibiting at NBAA 2022
Tokyo, Japan. 26 Oct 2022, 9 AM JST: NABLA Mobility Inc. (Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, CEO: Shinji Tanaka, “NABLA Mobility”) is pleased to announce that it has exhibited a booth at the NBAA Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition (“NBAA-BASE”) held by the National Business Aviation Association (“NBAA”).
NBAA-BASE is the world's largest general aviation trade show, attracting more than 25,000 general aviation attendees each year. It is known for attracting not only business jet operators, but also maintenance, systems development, aviation oil distributors, and all other related parties involved in general aviation [1], and is a key event for the exchange and dissemination of industry trends and information. The 2022 event was held at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida, USA, from October 18 to 20, 2022.
NABLA Mobility has released a beta version of Weave Pilot, a SaaS product for general aviation pilots and flight operations personnel based on its proprietary machine learning (ML) and artificial intelligence (AI) technologies for flight operation optimization. Weave Pilot is a service that allows pilots and flight operations personnel to easily input flight plans (note 2) created in advance on the Web and receive optimal altitude transition suggestions based on ML and AI-based wind and turbulence forecasts. (Further enhancements are planned for the future).
Through its participation in NBAA-BASE, NABLA Mobility was able to network with a wide range of industry professionals and gather a variety of positive feedback on Weave Pilot in terms of both technology and products. We will continue to leverage this network and feedback to support the improvement of operational resilience in the airline industry.
[1]: A generic term for airline operations excluding Commercial Aviation and Military Aviation. It includes mainly business jet operations and airline charter operations.
[2] A flight plan is reported to the aviation authorities in advance of an aircraft's flight. It includes departure airports, arrival airports, air routes, and altitudes to be traversed, aircraft information, and scheduled departure and arrival times.
