NABLA Mobility Released a White Paper on Turbulence Avoidance and Altitude Optimization

Tokyo, Japan. 8 June 2023, 1 PM JST: NABLA Mobility Inc. (Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, CEO: Shinji Tanaka, “NABLA Mobility”) released a white paper on turbulence avoidance and altitude optimization.

Turbulence, a significant risk factor for aviation safety, continues to pose challenges in the face of escalating climate change trends. Recent academic studies highlight the projected rise in both frequency and intensity of turbulence[1]. The airlines face a significant challenge in the precise prediction of turbulence and the formulation of effective measures for its avoidance. Regrettably, the absence of adequate technological solutions has compelled airlines to heavily depend on the operational expertise of their crew.

In response to these challenges, NABLA Mobility has taken a proactive approach by focusing on the development of advanced solutions that leverage state-of-the-art machine learning (ML) and artificial intelligence (AI) technologies, while rigorously testing their efficacy. Consequently, we have published a white paper that offers a comprehensive overview and innovative ideas, with the objective of effectively addressing this critical concern.

Our white paper comprehensively examines the efficacy of these innovative technologies in turbulence prediction and avoidance. By harnessing the power of ML and AI, we aspire to revolutionize the way airlines approach turbulence management, ensuring safer and more efficient flights for passengers and crew.
